It's My Birthday so I thought I would Give Away Something!
Well today I hit the last year of my 30's. I'm not freaked out or concerned as many seem to be, it is really just another day that means me, hubby and the kids get to eat cake!
I'm in a group with a fabulous group of women who love to practice the art of Random Acts of Kindness. Today I would like to do the same. Easy to enter, no skill testing questions and you will get something out of it.

My new favourite place...
My all time favourite place to sit back with a cup of tea and browse.
The Book Depository I do not think I could even count the number of fantastic books I have purchased in the last year from here. They have almost any book you can think of at great prices. My favourite part - FREE Worldwide shipping. I know I sound a bit like an infommercial - but if you find a great deal...pass it along! One of mine and the kids favourite books to browse through and see what we can do is Green Crafts for Kids. It has a great number of projects to play around with! The salt dough recipe and use of cookie cutters gave us two days of play time with making one day and painting the next!
Stop on by for a visit - you are sure to find a gift for anyone there for Christmas!

Starting on Friday May 27th, 2011 LimeDaisy Design will be holding a monthly (last Friday of the Month) market night combining 10 Facebook Businesses selling in one place! Today I'm learning something new.
Welcome...you are my first guests and today you have the pleasure of seeing me struggle with how to set up my very first blog. Suggestions welcome, encouragement required. Why blog? Not sure yet really, but why not. What is the harm.
I'm a stay at home mummy, I love to craft, sew, make candles, bake and be creative. I just do not always have the time or space to do so. My two little ones both under 3 are my everyday. I love spending time with them and feel that raising them is the most important job I have ever had the pleasure of having. I am not religious, or political so if you are looking for either of those things, you will not find them here. I strongly believe in staying at home with your children during the early years, I was lucky enough to have my Mum with me and couldn't imagine it any other way with my children. We play games, sing a lot (although I'm told I do not have a good voice, but they have yet to tell me to stop), craft, watch a few shows together and get out and about often. I want them to learn from me and my husband. I am fortunate to have a husband who is home for dinner every night, provides well for us so that I have this opportunity to share the time with my children. I do not have anything against those who choose to work or need to, but it is just not for me.
That's me in a quick nutshell. More will come and I hope you will stay along for the learning ride. Hopefully I'll bring you something that makes you want to come back again and again and share in my adventures.
